Hidden Screensavers:

In Finder go to: System/Library/Compositions
Drag the movie clips you want to use as screensavers to the system preference pane with the screesaver tab open. Doing so will keep the original file in the compositions folder just in case any other program needs it.
There are tons of great clips in this folder that can be used as screensavers so just dig thru them and find the ones that suite you best.

Free file of the week:

ScreenShade

ScreenShade is a tool for further dimming a screen (or screens) past the capabilities of the OS X brightness display settings. This utility is especially useful for people who find themselves using their computer in a low-lighting situation. Even on its lowest native brightness setting, my MacBook Pro's screen is still extremely bright when used in a dark room - ScreenShade to the rescue!
