News:
Aparently apple is planning on releasing the new 6th gen ipod in mid August. the iPod will not feature a touch-screen or a scaled down version of OS X until 2008. Instead, it is supposed to be somewhat shorter than existing iPods but will maintain the current screen and click wheel. So no coverflow this round.
Also Apple has revealed a new slim line keyboard for the new imacs. it has an aluminum body to it and is very similar to the keyboards on macbook and macbook pros.

Problem #1: When update your superdrives firmware the update wont go away when you restart your macbook.
Solution #1: Go into your system preferences, click on accounts, then on login items, then just click on the superdrive update and click the minus sign at the bottom to delete it. This screen is similar to the msconfig startup screen on windows. So if you ever have a program starting up that you don't want now you know where to go to get rid of it.
Problem #2: If you have any problems starting up the computer like kernal panics, white screens, blue screens, gray screens etc...
Solution #2: You can try and do a safe mode boot by starting up your macbook and waiting for the chime sound then immediately press the shift key which will boot you into safe mode and automatically perform a disk utilities check to verify any problems with your drive. Hopefully that will work and get you back and going again.
